Who We Are

Pastor Bryan Taunton is the founding Pastor of ChristPoint. He is a dedicated servant leader deeply rooted in the community of Sylacauga. Alongside his high school sweetheart Laura, he has raised two children, Lauren and Hunter. Lauren is married to Andy Layton, and blessed them with their granddaughter Stella, while Hunter and his wife Kristina welcomed Brynlee into the family. Both Lauren and Hunter are active members of ChristPoint Community Church.

Bryan's commitment to his church and community is evident through his bi-vocational role, tirelessly supporting both his family and the church. Renowned for his servant heart and "can-do" attitude, he is affectionately known as Santa by many.  He uses this persona to spread the true message of the reason for the season. 

Together with Laura, Bryan is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through their service, embodying the values of compassion, dedication, and faith in all they do.
